Acquisition of auto titles and Triathlon Plus from Future Plc

Kelsey Media has exchanged contracts to acquire the motoring portfolio and Triathlon Plus from Future plc, with a view to complete the transaction by the 18th August 2014. The motoring portfolio comprises the following magazine brands: Fast Car, Fast Ford, Classic Ford, Classics Monthly, Total Vauxhall and Mini Magazine; in addition the purchase includes the following UK events: Classic Ford Show, Ford Fair, Japfest, Japfest 2: The Evolution, Performance Vauxhall Show, TRAX: The Ultimate Performance Car Event and associated websites.

Kelsey Media’s Managing Director, Phil Weeden comments: “We can clearly see lots of potential in developing our presence in both the motoring and fitness sectors with these leading brands. We therefore have no plans to close any of these titles and are excited to realise their potential in the coming months.”
